SportCross: 11.98 at MIR Imports Vs Domestics

Well, got my best time so far in the Sportcross with some added items to my setup. MT ET Street Drags and Torque Converter at 3200 stall, gave me a good jump off the line finally. Time slips below. Didn't win any of my heats but I went to get the car into the 11's and I hooked it right on in the second run. Damn was a long day and lots of fast vehicles out there.

Rodney that is awesome. Got any pics or videos?

I wish I knew more about drag racing so I could critique your time slip, but it looks good to me!

I coalesce the vapor of human experience into a viable and logical comprehenshion.

yeah, nice time Bro. your launch was awesome! I was by far the loudest one in the stands when you staged...lol. Is it just me or did the domestics really make a statement this year....I've never seen so many 7 and 8 sec passes in my life...lol

MSP (previous winners) had issues otherwise they were the favorite to win the PRO class again (only import to be running in that class also) high 7's over 180mph

Matt M prior to having clutch issues on the dyno nite before was probably going to be the only real competition for the buick GN in wild street, both matt and his 6spd supra and the buick were neck and neck last year..

the red hatch won the true street class, and cayman (IS350) won the ss class..

so overall was not a real blowout jus the major hitters went down

Way to go, Caymandiver! I didn't know you won the ss class. I know a lot of people that would've appreciated seeing at least one Supra (or any import for that matter) be competitive in the PRO class. I was really looking forward to seeing MSP run. Both the red hatch and red SRT4 were pretty nasty also (I keep forgetting the SRT4 is a domestic).

Mr. Silksdj, you really rep'd for the ISers too. I was talking trash like it was my car out there...haha

Thanks everyone, yea the key to that run was the 60' I was able to snare. Having the ability to launch it wit 10 lbs of boost made a big difference. I figured if I could I get it down or about the 1.8 or 1.7 range I'd be able to snare an 11 second run. Thats based on my previous times I have run with street tires and without the high stall.

Rodney, congrats on the 11sec pass. Not too shabby for a station wagon, huh? LOL. Come by this week so we can discuss what we were talking about on Monday.

PS. Do you have the fastest Sportcross???
