New 1/4 mile times! Updated w/ quick vid

Best results on street tires

275/35/19 BFG KDW

R/T 1.048
60 2.444
330 6.046
1/8 8.784
MPH 89.76
1000 11.311
1/4 13.350
MPH 112.31

Best results on Drag radials

255/50/16 M/T ET Streets on RX7 wheels

R/T .694
60 1.877
330 5.129
1/8 7.757
MPH 94.00
1000 9.981
1/4 11.860
MPH 120.05

I was aiming for mid 11's but 11.86 will do for now. The difference between the 2 tires were like night and day. Wheel hop from the BFG's was RIDICULOUS!!. No traction in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and part of 4th. With the M/T's, 1st and 2nd gears barked....... and that was it.

I feel the drag radials were much less abuse to the drive line compared the street tires. At the strip, I will never run street tires again and I dont recommend it. It felt like my wind shield was gonna crack from all the vibration.

My brother ran his supra also. His best was a 12.1 @122mph

GOOD TIMES!

the 60 ft times on the 2 different tire set ups is the KEY...

which track??

11.86 @ 120 MPH with a 1.8 60 ft is pretty good...nice job...

Were both runs on the same amount of boost? The MPH on the second run was a big difference. Nice job, good to see more IS hit the track and not just post dyno numbers and car show pics.

Rockingham dragway

The only difference in the 2 runs were tires.

Search, then if you don't find the right info start a thread asking about it. But don't thread jack and send this thread off in a completely different direction.

I was running 1.4bar

Redline: No, I was to afraid of break something. I need to do something with the rear end..... to beef it up esp. but also to keep from having to shift to 5th. I could prob shave a few 10ths.
