Autox seatbelts. NOW W/ PIC

I am going autox next saturday, I want to get a seat belt that only goes around your torso and is combined with the stock seatbelts.
I have been a passanger in a road race and I was given it to wear, it really keeps you seated under hard turns.

Anyone? +rep

All ready to go autocrossing.

Is it supposed to go around mid-torso? If so, interesting

Seen them before. The "poor mans harness". Goes around your chest & seatback.

They seem to work but I think it could be a little constricting unless you have a big enough gut to keep it from sliding down without making it super tight. I've never seen them pass tech for anything more than an auto-x though.

silver5spd, have fun at the auto-x.

Ya, in no way is this a legal safety device. But it did pass inspection in a road race coarse at Moroso, it must be combined with the stock seatbelt. Anyway it took me about 5 minutes to make and I am excited to see if it helps me any, I have a tendency to lean out of my seat when making sharp turns and using the steering wheel to hold myself in place.

It goes kinda under the nipples, Greg.

Also I made the numbers with reflective vinyl so that at night my car will be easier to see.
