Anyone take their Eshift IS300 to the roadcourse?

If so, what are some good things to do to keep the Auto trans in good shape? Is a tranny cooler necessary for 15 minute sessions at an open track day?

I've already done semi race brake pads and have a set of steel braided lines waiting to go in with some good fluid.

I haven't done any track events, just autocross.... and mine seems to be doing just fine.

I think you'll be fine as long as there is clean/fresh fluid in there. If they are only 15min sessions see if you can borrow a digital thermometer or just check the fluid to make sure it's not boiling. I would think your brakes/tires would be the first to give you problems.

I track my car often.

Do a flush at the beginning of the season.

i've tracked my car at autobahn and road america before, make sure you change your brake fluid before the track day because if you don't you might boiled the brake fluid and crash into and guard rail also, get your suspension dial in correct especially your rear toe.

back to stock

The car has a stock tranny cooler, just make sure you have some good fluid in there and keep the session times to a minimum.
