I ran 13.2 @ 117.4 and another similar run the other nite, peak boost was 17.5 on blitz sbc. I Did not launch the car, just wanted to make sure the traps were the same before winter came.

I know there are some people claiming that they hit 10's but with no proof, so who do you guys think will be one of the first to hit that? I know isman is a contender i know theres a lot more then just him but i can't think of anyone at the moment. Since this year will be my first time with the boost im just hoping to get on the list and learn from this years experience.

I'd say there's a list of about 7 that have cars capable of 10's right now running on the street. some may still be in the shop though... who can drive it to that will be the sure sign. some people(2) have cars capable of 9's.....

Capable of 9's?? There isn't even a documented 10 second one yet. Without switching the car's suspension and drivetrain for drag, I think you will need at least 140mph trap speeds to pull off a 9.99 or better. I don't think anyone on the list has actually set up their cars for drag. Removing sway bars, going with an auto w/transbrake & high stall, 90/10 suspension etc. Look at the non-drag supra's. The only one's in the 9's are trapping over 140mph. If you do a calcuation, 3300lbs (w/driver) requires 800+hp to pull a 9.90.

remove sways, who the hell removes the sways? go back to the mustang boards.

nobodys IS with driver weighs 3300lbs, nobody.

With a properly built auto with 650-700rwhp I would be willing to bet could make a run at 9's with addition of a higher stall on nearly stock suspension.

Can it be any more obvious? No most these cars were not built to only fly down the 1320 on c16 during summer weekends. Give it time, most are still enjoying their 1-4yr old car and brand new set-up's and havent gotton hardcore about draging it. Be it $$, lack of experiance or jus desire to not break parts. IS that hard to understand>? Supras have been aroun since '93 and took how long for a few 10 sec street cars?? Maybe you dont remember, it was around 3yrs ago. Btw most supras are sitting in a garage waiting for nice weather while plenty of these IS300's are getting driven on a regular basis. Also you can fit a taller slick and wider wheel on the supra. Anything else I need to educate you on, let me know.
