Sorry for the crapy time slip. The slip guy gave me the crapy carbon copy eventhough I was the 1st to the booth.
I don't think the rednecks there took to kind to a Lexus on their track.

Mark,

Did you ever do a full writeup of your setup? I forget and am interested in checking it out.

caymandiver75 - I suppose those rednecks can't determine dates. As long as they can tell TIME correctly, that is what matters

RAVEN - The temps were cool at 60-something I believe. I should have had less air in my tires. Next time...next time.

TeCKis300 - I have yet to post up details regarding my fixed rearend. Mainly because there is not too much to report. It was just your basic "add more and stronger mounting points" kinda fix. I have yet to ever post a detailed write-up because my setup keeps changing as I change my goals. Here it the latest --> https://my.is/forums/showthread.php?t=295395

LexISpooled - I have a 72mm Precision Turbo (GTQ). I've had zero wheel hop with my stock wheels or with the RX-7 MT drags. I'll make sure I drop the air pressure the next time I go out. GS430 w/Kaaz LSD, C-16 @ 30 psi and 692whp.

This was my 1st and only run that I made it all the way down the track in my turbo IS. I only made 1 run today. Once you see the video, you will understand why. When I reached the end of the track, my car started to smoke very bad. My home made catch can was not able to keep up with the demand . It was hitting the exhaust and causing smoke. The anouncer made a couple of jokes about my car and the smoke (azz hole). Once we got to look over the car, we noticed the rear tires were hitting on the fenders. I made the call not to run again incase we cut a tire or got in my own oil. I was not worth it.

<insert humor>
The guy next to me had me a bit nervous. His car was one of those pimped out old American Muscle looking cars. I really thought he was going to kill me. I guess I had him so scared, he tried to get the jump and red-lighted. He blew past me on the start and I managed to run him down at the end. I'm not sure if he was trying or not. I'll take the win (if we would have been racing).
</insert humor>
