Solid_Snake's Savannah Metallic IS300 *Update 5/7/14

I'm bored so I decided to post pics of my car. I'd like to hear comments, positive or negative..lol

Here's when I first bought it a year ago.

And now a year later:

It has a brand new dashboard, Pioneer AVIC-F9000BT, 2008 ISx50 wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires, Supra TT front brakes, and Hotchkis springs.

And next project:

Now:

UPDATE 3/29/12
New Project

UPDATE 5/18/12
Got a matching black chrome headlight for the driver side to replace the SD titanium headlight.

Replaced taillights with dark metallic housings

And got a new shift knob lol

6/20/12
Got the UK grill..

Please excuse the dirty car lol. Also working on getting the bumpers fixed and grill painted

1/12/13
Picked up a M85 Torsen Limited Slip Differential for $300 locally.

Painted it, changed seals, and resealed it with OEM seals and FIPG

Installed

UPDATE 9/11/13

Now working on a new project:
LS430 Retrofit

And a couple of pics as it sits now

Update 10/24/13

Got a set of '14 IS350 F sport wheels.
They do not clear the supra calipers.

UPDATE: 5/7/14

Swapped the interior to black and got a manual steering wheel:

How she sits now:

Well my boss gave me the dash as goodwill(I'm a tech at a Lexus dealer). So I did not pay for it. And I also got new catalytic converters while the car was still under the emissions warranty. Lol.

EDIT: I think they go for like $400

Car looks good solid snake. I like those 2nd wheels on the 300. New dash is a plus and reminds me I need to do something to refresh mine. Nice updates, thanks for sharing

Your gf is a keeper!! lol.

Springs look great next to the stock IS.

Are you planning to complete the black interior conversion?

I don't understand what you mean as to complete to black interior. lol

I would love to have black interior but I don't think it would look good with the body color.

You have the upper black dash, what about making the rest of it black so it doesn't look like the upper part is out of place (like it should match the rest of the interior).

That's how it came originally. i don't know how all black interior would look on a gold car lol

ah yeah, I figured that it came that way. So, what was the reason for replacing the dash? Other than having a fresh dash to enjoy :D

I agree that your interior color goes best with that exterior color, but the dashboard seems so out of place all black like that! But I think the black interior would still look good, like the tinted windows look good. Just get the lower dash panels in black and that'd probably be perfect.
