looking for some help

im sure this question is asked too many times, but i want to know an efficent way to add some mods and hp to my is300. I was thinking along the line of maybe a chip, exhaust and possibly intake. any thoughts? I honestly do not want to go broke lol, but any alternatives would be nice to hear as well.

There isn't a chip available for the IS300, the closets thing along those lines would be some sort of air/fuel controller.

take a look at this thread, it's got all the information you'll ever need to stay n/a and have fun driving power wise.

Modding a Lexus is never cheap and you really dont want cheap parts ...enjoy your car and when you got more loot then plan out what you want and numbers you wanna see ...then save up....then get some parts

^^^ YEP! Do some research and save!!! The best way to start modding in my opinion is suspension. That is something you can feel and see the results from immediately. Shocks, and springs or coilovers, then some sway bars. Then if you really want to feel some gains and don't want to go nitrous or boost you might want to save your money and strongly consider cams. Every other bolt on mod will give such little gains it won't be all that noticeable. Lastly a nice sound mod is a cold air intake. I have an AEM and really love the added throaty sound it gives the car when you punch it. It also looks a lot better under the hood then the stock. Good luck.

If the part costs less than $200 you don't want it.
