I recently just purchased a used Greddy emu and was wondering if anyone has a diagram on how to set the jumpers in the emu? Also where can I get the program so I can load it to my laptop. I found the thread for the wiring for my 01. On the wiring, am I tap into each wire or am I cutting and wiring straight to the emu on some? I would get the pnp harness but all I hear is bad experiences with them. Also do I need the Map sensor on the IS300? Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

This is going to be installed on my 2001 IS300 with the CX racing turbo kit. I will be upgrading the fuel pump, injectors to 330cc, and adding a fuel return and fpr. I will also be installing the O2 sensor simulator. I already have the valve body upgrade with transmission cooler.

The PNP harness is fine from Boomslang other than one wire. But any way. If it did not come with the disck. I think I have a compressed file I can send you. PM me you email. As for the jumpers. It has been a while. I do not have a picture or listing. I would need to pull one out to tell or show you. It may take a while to do that. Sorry.. Hopfully someone else here can help.

Yeah one wire. That they ran to the greddy. But it screws with the tranny on the auto. Not sure on the stick. But ether way. You do not need it.

I might look into getting the pnp harness if that’s the case. What about the VVTi? Does it cause any problems with that?

Nope. Just cut the injector wires and splice the emanage in between the stock ecu and injector.

Does anyone have a base Map tune for the emanage ultimate? Maybe some tune maps as well so I can get a starting point for mine.

Once you set the settings. Everything is at 0 change. That is where you build from. Any map you get will be different than your motor and use. I remember seeing a few maps uploaded on the forum. But I think they are turbo maps.

Does anyone know if the harness for the EMU would have the original colored wires in different places or moved around? Would a plug n play harness do that? I got the EMU with a plug and play harness from a RX8 so a lot of wires are not the same color or in the same place as a original harness. Just wanting to make sure if this is common?

I have a emanage ultimate installed on a 2JZGTE VVTI
i had 3 issues before i had it running 100%

1. The jumper JP8 needs to be move from 5V to 12V so the car can start "JP8 Ignition Output Signal - This jumper will configure the Ignition output signal. Set to “1-2” for 5V system and “2-3"
2. Don't connect Pin 32 'Knock Signal 1 / Water Temp Signal' and Pin 38 'Knock Signal 2 / Intake Temp Signal' to the Water and Intake wire in the ECU since i think the emanage is adding resistance to the signal and will cause the ECU to see a lower temp and the car will think that the car is cold and will run rich and high RPM at IDLE since the ECU think the car is COLD. you can use those 2 pin to connect the ECU knock sensors
3.Don't use the Speed Cut Feature pin 40 and 41 in a AUTO car this will only work on a manual, you don't need this in a USDM since they are not limited to 180 like the JDM cars
