I searched and didnt see anything, as well as allot of the pics on page 1 dont work anymore. Ive been going over the wire diagram and seeing allot of the manual stuff that runs through plug EA1 (grey at ecu) as would the auto trans stuff for park/neutral switch. what needs to be run or spliced to get the manual engine/trans harness matched to the auto body harness? I'm also using the manual dash harness to help with simplifying this, less cutting of wires. or does anyone have a manual trans, 02-05, subharness -fuse/relay boxes, headlight wiring, etc for sale lol?
There isnt really much info on it, probably because most people just cut up/repin their existing harnesses. I myself am in the middle of piecing my swap together and I picked up all of the factory harnesses that you theoretically need to make the entire swap plug and play. Minus the transmission tunnel of course. So I have an 2002 is300 and all the wiring I picked up is from an 2002 manual is300 just to be safe. I have the engine bay harness, engine harness, and dash harness. From what i was informed they all have something you need to make the swap work fluidly.

i figured it all out. only thing I dont have is the manual wiring in between the engine harness and dash. the trans tunnel isnt available anymore, found out first hand from a dealership in florida that had had it listed still. on the phone with them monday morn to find out no one has it and no part swaps over for it

My trac off light is still flashing all these months later

It's some obscure TRAC code that only comes up with Toyota's diagnostic. The fault in the manual just says "TRAC Fault" or something uselessly helpful like that.

No other codes.

I'm thinking my next step is to get the traction control / abs computer from a manual and see if it works. I noticed there is one for auto and one for manual.

If that doesn't work I suppose I will wait till winter to go through the wiring again for the 10th time. The only thing I could think of that I changed was the speed sensor but I'm not getting that code anymore so it's apparently working fine.

So careful with your O2 sensors when you make the swap. I wrecked a O2 sensor heater and that threw a code which flashed my TRAC OFF and disabled the TCS. Fixed that up and now my swap is CEL free.

I trimmed my wiring harness this week. Removed all the pins at the ECU and cut the wires at the back of the intake manifold except for the reverse indicator. I also ran the clutch start wires to the ECU box instead of the AT harness so the wiring is a lot cleaner as I only have 1 new cable sleeve running from the ECU to driver compartment.
