does anyone else have this problem that when I try to pop the trunk from inside the car it seems like the cable if it is a cable is out of adjustment and takes two or three tries to get it to open. Have to pull all the way to the extreme to get it to work. Looked briefly in the trunk and see the solneoide that works off the remote but didn't see a cable to adjust. Didn't look real hard either.

I agree. Take it back. Let the warranty take care of it.

Had the same problem with mine; took it in; the tech said that he couldn't find anything wrong. It seems that you have to give it a quick "pop" rather than a gentle pull. Works fine that way. Seems strange; but wtf do I know?
