What are wiring jobs? A friend of mine use to stress 24/7 about stocks and now he's bought 2 SL500's. For for him and one for his dad and he wasn't even legal to buy porn yet, sheeesh!

haha BlackAltezza, i'm from long island to...in my highschools parking lot theres plenty of Range Rovers (75 - 80k), 1 Hummer, 1 of the new Lexus SC's, a few M3's, cadillac escalades, X5's and more. My parents are giving me the same car they gave my sister, a 92 honda accord POS. But, i wont drive that, because i have saved so far about $28k from doing computer wiring jobs, and other little computer s**t...i plan on having about $32 by july (when i turn 17) so i can buy an IS with my own money. That way i can pay for it myself. Any of you people who think its impossible for a 16 yr old to have made $28k doing wiring jobs, stop hating cuz thats the truth...Anyway i dont think there will be anything wrong with me as a 17 yr old driving an IS if i bought it with MY money, and plus i am very responsible (cummon, i have made 28 thousand dollars on my own incentive) hehe. Anyway sucks that girl did that to your car.

I think there are about half responsible and have irresponsible kids in high school. A good rule of thumb is grades. I just think thats the best way to say if the kid is responsible or not period. This girl that went to my old school got a NSX when she turned 17 and she treated that car with so much car and she was on the honor roll. Another girl in the same school who cheated off of me half the time had her parents get her a Modena from one of their family owned dealerships and she wrecked it in 2 months. I was surprised that it lasted that long and that she could actually drive it.

I don't think it has to do with grades. more about personality. you can tell when someone doesn't give a $hit about their car or when they care. I cared a lot about mine and try to take the best care of it. Others on the other hand couldn't car less if the bump into someone while parking or scrape their rim on the curb. I would go nuts if i did something like that.
