ECU Body harness plug pinout

Hey guys, trying to find a pinout list of the body harness plugs in the ecu box.

I downloaded every pdf i can find but everything is for the ecu or internal body plugs only.

Please help!

Not entirely sure what you mean because the body system uses CAN BUS to the engine ECU, meaning only two wires go to the engine ECU from the body control functions(MPX wires on connector E4-orange pin 20 and blue pin 21. The body circuit is completely played out in the diagnostic manual as well as the pin outs and all connectors. Download this link..
https://my.is/forums/f90/new-01-05-di...-dowoad-435090

Page #907-918 is all the body functions and you can see the engine ECU gets two signal wires, those also go to the AC console, cluster, ABS module, etc.

Page 805-808 shows the complete layout of the body harnesses then go to pages #1079-1088 for tur connectors. Sorry if this isn't what you're looking for but it can actually help and hope it does. Only two wires go between the body and engine ecu.

Hi Jason,

You know when you plug in the ecu to the ecu box in the front of the car. All those connectors that don't go into the ecu itself...yeah those are what I need to know the pinouts for.

Ah, the four connectors towards the driver side I'm betting. Those are junction points 1,2,3, and 4(J1, J2, J3, J4). I will try to find a better description of what's what.

Getting closer, I was wrong, they are EA1, EA2, and EA3. Remember if it's a solid brown wire or a white w/black stripe then it is simply a constant ground wires for the IS300. I see one is grey, one is blue, and the other is black I think and they are junction points.

Now to find out about these lil guys...

Well, I took the time(yes, about an hour lol) and went through the whole print and got the pins that were available. I hope it's the same ones we're talking about lol. The link I have above shows the layout of the pins on the connectors. These are from 2002-2005 print book and I couldn't find all of them so there must be some spots not used, the rest are verified. Hopefully this helps.

Sorry to bring up this old post.. but I was wondering if you guys had a 2001 EA1-EA3 pin out.. based on my wiring, I have noticed that only EA1 is the same as what @jasonm4 posted, EA2 and EA3 are different so I would assume its because those are for 02-05.

thanks..

Sorry me too, bring up old post. How do I figure on the ecu which is pin 33 vpa and pin 32 vpa2. Trying to fix code p2121.

I got the download of manual but can't see where I can "search" it for 2121?

I have a 2004, found a pink/blue, no blue white. Are the wire colors different on model years, thx.

I can find the blue/white and pink/blue at the throttle, but can't find at the ecu so far. thx

MAYBE I found the pins. So key on gas pedal off I will read the voltages.

There were harness changes between 01 and 02+. The ECU connectors completely changed.

Best way to get the updated diagram is to sign up for "techinfo.toyota.com". You can look up and get specific diagrams for your car.

P2121 is in the repair and diagnostic manual DI-305.
