It's an auto.. Manuals after 08 are pretty hard to find in a v8.

yea, sold it locally to a friend of a friend.

I needed something bigger Darren... Suprised you're still on here. I only saw your post cuz someone replied on it.

Got some 20's on order, and a front lip after my car gets back from the body shop.

Congrats
Thats the plan ! - next car is to be German Engineering.
After seeing the newest 5, i just cant look at the older ones the same. But a 550 holds a good amount of respect. Enjoy

Yea, the IS430 project would take too long as I had the motor sitting for 4 years and did absolutely nothing with it. No time to get the project going and decided just to sell the car. If you know anyone who would like to have a free 3UZ-FE that they can rebuild, let me know. its taking space in my garage.

I still have a shop. It's called Tint Pros, in new brighton. if you know anyone who would like tint, hit me up.

ah, I love E60s!!

I just wish...

they didn't use cheap leather(known problem with E60's, seats and steering wheel leather starts to deteriorate really fast, so take care of them!!)

Front sway bar component is made with hydraulic dampened unit...which also goes out and not under warranties.

iDrive is really annoying, so is the blinker switch, which never seems to stop!! LOL

other then that...RPi exhaust is got to be one of my Fav. mods on V8 E60s! they just sound amazing.

You may have seen the leatherette material. I haven't seem any leather wear out quickly on a bmw since having a few other models

Only sport models have the active roll stabilization, but yea I've seen those to bad and know a cheap and effective fix for them.

idrive has a learning curve and gets better with newer models.

Rpi has a great exhaust system, wish it wasn't so pricey for the minimal gains you get for them.

LAME!!!!!

Come on big spender, why didn't you hold out and get the newer generation of 550i with the twin turbo V8 (n63 or S63)?

360hp.... pffff could of had 400-550 STOCK.

HAHA jk dude! I love the 550i. There is a girl who lives near by who drives one and I always find myself staring (at her, and the car)! Enjoy the new ride!
