Nice write up, I did this install too. Hardest part was getting the stock calipers off LOL whats the silver square piece on the back of the caliper? I dont have that on mine
Just to clarify, are you saying the OEM lines AND hardware (stock banjo, banjo bolt) work with LS400 calipers?

if this is correct, then yes...any stock or aftermarket lines made for the stock IS300 calipers will also work with the LS400 calipers

Aside from weight savings whats the biggest benefit of using the LS400 calipers over the Supra calipers? I have a broken Supra caliper and this might be something I am willing to look into. Will the Supra caliper adapters from fig work with the LS400 calipers?

Those are figs supra caliper adapters in OP's pictures. So do you think they'll fit?

**same caliper adapter is used for both the Supra TT and LS400 calipers**

this same thing also confused me, because they are called TT adpaters...but they are the same i guess.

i believe they are quite similar. however i have also heard the Supra might be a tad larger (rotor/pad size). not sure about the weight of them.

also, it seems as if you can find LS400 calipers at a better price than the TT calipers. thats why i went LS400. i got a good deal on the rotors

Time to get my calipers back from Fig, and order the TT and RCA adapters (sold the figs TT adapters awhile ago, doh!)

Man, I gotta give em back haha.
To be honest it all the craziness I have forgotten exactly where they came from. PM me, I think I am done with them...although I need one more scan to build a press fit template alignment for the adapters.

press out the one that is in the caliper now, you can use a hammer or something to get that out...it depends on what you have handy, along with something to put up against the adapter to push it out of the hole: like a socket, extension, or screw driver
