They are not in plain sight. Take a flashlight and look inside the door UP and towards the BACK of the door.

The rods would run from the actuator toward the door handle. They're kind of hard to see. You may have to stick your hand in there and feel it out.

The layout is pretty much spot on, definitely watch froggy47's video pertaining to this, it's a great video. Once you pull back the cover wrap you'll see them above as mentioned. Try not to lose or break the clips.

Hi all,

I need to do pass side, thinking about buying just the little motor. Does anyone have a recent link to Amazon/Ebay to a CORRECT motor for IS300 2004?

Thanks!

I believe the correct motor is made by Mabuchi and is part no. FC-280PC-22125.

I was following this tutorial to replace my actuator and when I was almost done, I noticed a metal bracket had fallen to the bottom of the door. Does anyone know where this belongs? Thanks in advance for the help.

great DIY. Dealer Quoted me $200 for labor. No thanks...

Took me a while to figure out the clip situation but the video definitely helps.

Thanks!

Do you know (for 2004 IS300) is it the round shaft 9.85mm length?

There are some other lengths & shaft with a flat or splines?

Want to have it on hand for when I take it apart.
