IS350 Brake Bleeding

New member. I've searched a lot and can not find a definitive answer...

I'm about to bleed the brakes on my 2009 IS350. Do I need to turn on the ignition for the rear caliper bleed?

It seems like some of the Lexus models needed the ignition turned to the ON position but then others say they didn't.

Can someone clear this up?

Sorry I reposted this in the 2nd gen forum.
