New guy here- IS-F

Hi everybody, I just joined up after purchasing my 2011 isf a little over a month ago. I sold my 410whp 06 sti to buy the is-f and I love it! Perfect combination of performance, luxury, and reliability . Already have borla exhaust but need to install it, and the next step is PPE headers and high flow cats!

Thanks! Its totally different and I love it! Sti was rough and had brutal acceleration being a turbo car but with lots of lag. It hit like a freight train once the dom3 spooled! The is-f is sooo smooth and so much more comfortable. Its a little slower than the sti was but that will change soon

Is there a way to dyno the car stock and use that for a base reference before the mods go on? Then do an after dyno for when the mods are on?

I will see if they can do it. Im going to have Kaizen tuning do the install. They are known across the country for their work on gtrs but they work on everything and have an amazing shop. I know most guys on clublexus are making in the 350whp range and after the headers/exhaust they are right around 400whp

Kaizen Tuning
i would either recommend dynotech tuning which is alot closer to you since you live in RI. but if you want make a long trip to hudson, nh. GSD - granite state dyno, the owner Alex is a genius, he tunes alot of supras and turbo is300 up there, along with other 1000hp vehicles from methanol TT vipers etc. but if you do go to Kaizen Tuning, i would like to hear your result afterwards.

From what I have read and from the people on CL the header job alone seems to be a 6-8 hour job. I guess the steering rack and some suspension components have to come out. The people that built my subaru recommended Kaizen tuning in Boxboro, MA but im open to anyone who is qualified. Kaizen basically said $1100.00 to do the headers and exhaust but I know it will be done right

yeah it's a very labor intense job, you basically have to lower the subframe enough to get clearance for the header nuts. they srsly squeezed a V8 in a V6 engine bay (audi style)
