how much difference there is between the rubber and pillowball mounts?
is it night and day difference?

I am still waiting to test them, but on a non-McPherson strut, the pillow ball really does not add much in terms on control. There will be a slight increase in damping response, but the tradeoff in noise may not be worth it. Currently rubber will be default, with pillowball recommended for race-only applications.

cool I just got mine in. ordered 16k and 14k but I have also KW v3s on order with 24k and 20k spring rate too. I like the damping but at a higher speed around 50 they become alittle unstable but the cars alignment is far off and will give you better feed back once its all aligned. I am very impressed with the quality but for the track not sure if its stiff enough. I shouldnt say stiff but more that the wieght transfer to the front is not hard enough and I feel is compressing the spring to much. a 1350 spring should hold up.

I can see wanting a stiffer spring rate for the track for sure. The springs rates I chose were centered around people's desire for a comfort setting range with the ability to dial it up for the spirited days.
Remember also you can specify springs rates when you order from my site.

IMO, the stock spring rates cannot be that stiff. They seemed much softer at speed that the BC's and over damped. I can see what they are from my stock setup that is sitting here.

I think an adjustable setup like in the M3 would be great!

I'm guessing the 12k/10k range. I rode in an IS300 with those rates and it was night and day difference in stiffness over my 10k/8k setup on my IS. ISx50s arent really much heavier of a platform than the IS300. It also seems to have been softened up for that generation as well.

Poster, I mean poster. What have I done?
