sometimes things go well. or other times they get caught with a lot of work. just give a bit of time. it will be worth the wait.

Sorry for goin off topic.
I'm for hire and have experience installing the PLP Vortech S/C kits if you can't find a shop.
I installed one of the first DIY kits back in '03, uninstalled it off the same car and reinstalled in another car 6 months later, original owner traded car in for an STi.

Hit me up if you're interested.

JPLexIS,

I have no experience with them except that dyno day. They were working on someone else's IS300 with a turbo kit. Don't now much about it.

I'm getting my front end repainted with go_car's hook up. A bumper shouldn't take a few weeks. I should get my car back after 4 days (excluding the weekend), and he's painting the whole front end.

I'll let you guys know how it come out.

I talked to them earlier today and they said was being painted today and that I can pick it up tomorrow. I just feel really taken advantage of. I was very understanding, I guess a little to understanding. Hopefully the job is well done. Ill let you guys know how it goes.

Cool deal! Yeah, hit me up if you have any questions. Is it the Vortech or Powerdyne kit?

Are these guys really good with paint matching? I have Spectra Blue Mica and it's always been a whore to match up, from my altezza grill to my RMM trunk lip spoiler (twice).

I'm thinking of leaving them my altezza grill with the new bumper for a god paint match sample.

Anybody have any more suggestions for places?

Picked up the bumper on Friday, has two SMALL spots that need filling in before paint. Do you guys usually do that for extra $$ before paint? or is that something I could take care of?

I'll give you or Michael a ring tomorrow!

Thx, Kane

It is the Vortech kit.

Just an update for everyone, I picked up the bumper on friday. They did a really good job, but Im not happy that it took so long. I dont think I will be going back there for anything.

It better be good for as long as they took but only time will tell how well it was prepped. I had an old civic that went through a color change and it took 2 weeks longer to finish the job. Though when i picked it up it looked good my front bumper which i had replaced due to damage wasn't prepped very good and the paint started flaking off. So I took it back and had them do it right and it only took them the weekend for me to get it back.
