Does anyone know if there is a Do-It-Yourself Garage in Socal?

Does anyone know if there s any place which will rent tools and space for you to work on your own cars in Los Angeles near SGV? I'm looking for a place like that to make it easier to work on my car. Right now I d like to get a couple of things done before my Willowsprings weekend. Something like a self-serve garage or DIY garage. Any info would be very helpful. Thx!

might want to inquire with local shops if they seem slow.

when my timing belt snapped on my miata in chatsworth(40 miles from home & no remaining free AAA tows) One of the neighboring smog shops had a lift that the guy never used....$100 bucks, 2 6 packs of guiness(a couple of which I got to enjoy too at the end of each day LOL) & day and half later had a complete front end service done(TB, WP, front main seal, cam seals, valve cover gaskets, performance intake cam, adjustable cam gear & lighter weight crank pulley)

'01 ASP 17x8 ssr comps 225/45 all around, LS400 bbk, FX-R 3.0 projector retrofit in JDM headlights, Modellista front, c-speed sides/rear, Rigid Bars, Hotchkis sways(stiff), Konis & eibach prokit, PLP intake tube & K&N filter, JIC Ti axleback w/ custom midpipe...more to come ;)

heard about it over at 8thgencivic.com. let me try to find out.

"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you. Spoilers and body kits are how much of the wall you take with you. Roll cages and window nets are how much of a mess you leave on the wall."
