200K service

Excuse the double post, also in general is300..

Also I went to feltons in El Segundo, its a Toyota lexus specialty shop.

Im almost at 200K miles. My car needs the timing belt and water pump and the seals next to the valves changed and all that good stuff.

I got a quote for a lot of work. something like 2300 to 2600.

But I was wondering if the dealer has a routine service that covers those things.

This is an off the cuff question, pardon my laziness. Just want to get some ideas as if I was talking to somebody here face to face.

by the way, wassup!

Whoa man that is way over priced. Head over to ebay and find the timing belt water pump kit. Comes with seals and etc. The whole package of parts will run you 250-300 dollars. After that head to a reputable shop. If you need to know names pm me and ill give you good spots that will price labor right. Labor shouldnt run more than 500-750$.

let me know any question. Im in the 562 area so shops arent far from you. Dont go to dealership if you wanna save your wallet

EBay TB/WP kits FTW! Definitely some money to be saved just on parts.
Some good posts below.
