Lexus IS 250

Hello everyone, please I have a Lexus IS250 2007 I just bought about 2month ago and the power steering was ok but last week when I start the car I discover the power steering is hard to turn right or left and on the dash board the PS light was on. When ever the ps light is off its will be ok to drive but when it's on it's goes hard please advice what can I do.

Get it checked out but it sounds like a PS pump or something. It could also happen if you're low on fluid but the intermittent thing is strange. Maybe the PS pump has a bad electrical connection. Too many variables so fine a mechanic you trust
