Hey all! I just got my first Lexus!

IS 350
Smoky Granite Mica w/ Sterling & wood interior
Luxury Package
Mark Levinson & Navigation (Thinking about hacking the nav for always-on)
Alas, no parking assist, but I didn't want to wait!

I'm an okay photographer, so expect some pictures soon!

Right. Just started with clean car and did one coat of Eagle One Nano Wax and then over the next couple days 2 coats of the NXT. So far bugs just wipe off the front bumper. Hasn't been in the rain yet and I've just been dusting with California duster. It looks as good as the day I took the pics.

Wahoo! 620 miles, and 120 on I280! I'm loving this car!

Unfortuately my Photoshop PC is in pieces during some office remodeling, so I can't process my 13MB pix into something usable on a forum.

Movies

Ha! I just stuffed unedited (the horror) pix into my online gallery to get something I can post. Pardon the shitty 2PM sunshine... I need to head back up to Lick Observatory when the lighting is more favorable, like in the last picture. Now if only I could keep the dust off my car while carving up those scary mountain roads!

PK, I could be mistaken but it looks like your tires are going in the wrong direction.

If you look at the tread blocks in between the center rib and the outside blocks, they will direct the water towards the center, which is the opposite of what you want.

In the dry, it's not going to matter much. In the wet, it could get interesting.

How do you like those, BTW? I was going to try those out but they didn't come in the sizes I wanted.

IS350 SGM
Sports + ML + Nav
tint: SolarGard Titanium 43 in front, 32 in back
3M clearbra

pics taken after tint but before clearbra.

considering getting new 17 inch wheels with all seasons.
the current 18s makes everything rattle, road condition on my daily commute really sucks, any suggestions?

Did you try swapping them back with the dealer for the 17's? I have heard of dealers doing that sometimes, particularly if you're going down in size.
