Key Fob isn't working and the doors are locked!!!

I have a 2007 is350 and the key fob is being stubborn! It was working off and on and then stopped. Possibly the battery (most likely) but I need to get into the car! I know there is the key slot under the door handle but the key will not slide in. Is there a trick to it?!?! If anyone can help I would very much appreciate it!!! Thanks guys!!!

you need to "pop off" the plastic covering using the key, and there you will see a standard keyhole.

Awesome! Thanks so much! Also, is there a way to manually start the car with the key or am I SOL? I feel like such an amateur. The car takes like 5 minutes before the green like comes on before I can start it.

Hold the key up to the start button for about 5 seconds, with the button side facing you. It should start after that.

Yup, it works! my keyfob went completely dead. I had been putting off replacing the batteries, even though the info screen kept saying the batteries were low! DUH!

But I had to pull the plastic cover to unlock the car manually, and then hold the key fob against the start button to turn the car on.
