God damn winter - Ran over a couple of Potholes - What to check?
I hate states where there are extreme low temps and heavy snow in the winter. I want to move to Africa now. Place where there is no chance of snow, and temp never dips below 40F.
I ran over a couple of potholes. The first one happened in the last summer where the right front of the vehicle went over series of potholes during road construction. It was at highway speed of 65 mph.
The second incident just happened yesterday where I ran over a pothole with left front of the vehicle. This was at highway speeds also. I am pissed off as heck because it's a new condition IS350 with 9700 miles on the odometer.
No I'm not a mechanic. I don't fix my own car. When I go to Lexus dealership service dept what should I tell the service advisor to check on the vehicle? Tell them I ran over bad potholes? Or should I tell them specifically what to check for?
- Wheel Alignment
- Steering system (tie rod ends?)
anything else? I want to know if there is any damage done to my car from damn potholes thanks.
