I see this lol well that sucks.... just sold my 02 a few months ago and got the IS350 this past weekend.

Seems the newer cars are just attracting people who want a fancier Camry to take to Starbucks. Those people are less likely to cruise forums since they take it to the dealer etc. The aftermarket for 01-05 attracts more people to modding and forums. Not to mention you can get an auto high mileage IS for like 2500 bucks. That's my take anyway.

I hear you... by that logic, I guess people with IS300’s just want a fancier corolla 🏻 Lol no offense, I get what you’re saying. Guess they don’t have the time to cruise forums or whatnot. I’ll try to break that cycle 😂😂

Yea I was just tossing in a little humor. The IS300 at one time I'm sure was the same way with most people just having the dealer service it and whatnot. It has always had a decent aftermarket though but I think the cheaper the cars get the more people are willing to DIY and surf forums etc.
