Water leaking outside car, central location, between gear stick and bonnet

I have a water leak under my IS 220d coming from a central location. Further forward than the gear stick but further back than where the windscreen connects to the bonnet.

I have no idea what it could be as the car wasn't over heating when driving at 20 minutes after parking up it seemed to have stopped.

Has anyone had a similar problem in the past?

I really hope it is. There was nothign there at all when I checked this morning but I didn't have time to check the coolant levels or anything else as I was already late for work (I get the train, rather than drive) so I'll check all the levels as soon as I get back.

My plan is, should all the levels be fine, to drive without A/C up to the gym this evening and see if anything happens. If all is good at the gym drive back with the A/C on and check again at home. 15/20 minute drive each way so should hopefully be able to check it.

Looks like the AC drain is near the transmission, is that where your leak is?
