Do you hear any sound like the servo motor is moving or not?

I would say that it's most likely the servo motor but not guaranted.

Try to gain acces to the servo motor and try to watch if it moves when you change mode, most likely it wont. If it doesnt try to direct feed it with power just to confirm that it is broken before replacing it.
Because there could still be issues with wiring or control module

More than likely the mode servo is bad.

Did you recently change cabin filter?
Flap gets broken if not in correct mode before hand.

I had to pull the blend door servo off and open it up, clean the contacts, and replace the dielectric grease. It took some articulating to do it, but saved me quite a bit of money by not having to purchase a new motor.
