This is for an 2001 auto is300. I was shifting the trans dipstick tube out of the way last night and the tube/holder seemed to pop out slightly. It seemed to fit right back in and Iíve driven it a couple times since which didnít seem to produce any leaks thus far and the fluid level seemed fine. However Iím concerned that I may have broken some sort of seal or grommet holding it in as Iím not sure how tightly the tube was fixed in there initially.
Is this something that should likely be replaced?
Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
