Please identify the source of this leak

Hello IS-peeps,

I’m Dave (a new guy here). I’m having the worst day of my life and then my 2001 Lexus is300 spouts a new leak. I took a clear video of where/what hose the drops are coming from, but I’m not sure what component it is that’s malfunctioning. Can someone please help a newbie out? Thanks in advance for any information..

Wether it’s good news or bad news id like to know if my mechanic is b.s’n me or not

I don't recall ever seeing that hose (not that ive looked for it), but it looks like its clipped in place like a drain hose of some kind. AC?

What color is the fluid dripping? Does it feel oily or smell?

like Pnut and Tobias suggested, that is your ac condensation drain. It is supposed to drip when the ac is working properly

That said, it will continue to drip even after the car is off, since the water is still draining out of the system for a while after using the A/C.
