Keyless?

So I've been trying to find one, an OEM one, found one that i have to send in my ECU...

But I found this interesting...

Would this work???

http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-LEXUS-IS30...#ht_3955wt_952

Keep in mind that I have a 2001 IS300 which is supposedly different from 2002+ Years...

Jason, I need your help again... :]

'01's ECU's can be reflashed to a new master despite all the threads that say different. Not every place does it but check your local dealer, locksmith, or company the above member posted. Here's another locksmith that will send you an ECU and new key set. Some Lexus's do it and some not. Also, you may have the ability to use Lexus's "Lost Key Program". They give you a new $1500 ECU for free, you pay for two new masters, the labor to do it and a stamp all for around $600 IIRC. Just another option, but you do have choices.

What If I am not going to Lexus for regular maintenance?
Would they charge me even more?
The closest Lexus Dealership I have around me is about 2 hours away, should I call them first to see about the "Lost Key Program"?

I would definitely call them first, see if the program is even still offered. They may ask you for you VIN. This was/is a one time thing Lexus will do as a courtesy if all keys are lost. Check out those other places mentioned.
