Coolant reservoir question

Ok so my radiator started leaking on the lower part. I removed it for replacement and removed the fan assembly to install it on the new radiator. I was draining and inspecting the reservoir and found something weird. There was a big white rock looking thing inside. I used a cut up wire hanger to brake it up so it would come out. It looked like calcium or something idk. Has anyone seen this before? I got this car used with 200+ thousand miles on it so I donít know much about the history of it. Itís an 01 automatic if that matters. Any thoughts?
