I have a 2jz-ge in my is300 and i have the head removed so i can replace all the seals up top (my engine has about 300k so its about that time lol). The pictures attached are of the oil pump's sludge in all its glory. Would a failing main seal cause this? Or maybe the fipg sealant on the oil pump itself?
Also, when i put everything back together on the head, I heard that you should re torque all the bolts maybe about a week or so after. Is that true? Ive searched all over for help on both topics but I can't seem to find a whole lot of information. Any help would be welcome :grin:
