Hi! About 4 days ago I had a MAJOR oil leak fixed. I was putting a liter or so in every 3 weeks. Besides that, I also replaced the timing belt, water pump and spark plugs, valve cover gasket exhaust side, and valve cover gasket intake side and other little seals and whatnot. Today I noticed thereís a burnt orange liquid under my timing belt on a silver part the timing belt goes around (sorry I donít know the name of the part ). Also the area around the coolant cap is cracked and damp. I have a flea size crack somewhere on my radiator the shop sealed temporarily. Not sure whatís leaking. I donít think itís oil due to the color but I donít know. Iím not too car smart so any help would be great! Thanks!

UPDATE: I figured out its coolant leaking. Canít find where from though. Half my radiator is soaked with coolant from the over flow and all the way to the right of the radiator. Left half of radiator is completely bone dry. Does anyone know if thereís any specific hoses or spots to check? Thank you!! ?

What specific coolant did they use to refill the radiator? That is the first thing I would suspect. The toyota coolant (atleast for the IS300) is red maybe orange-ish but to me always looked pink when it dried. If you wanted to confirm you could probably tell just by looking at the color of the coolant or even pull a small sample of it then let it dry and compare color.

Can't think of many other fluids that would be hanging out and settling in that area.

The coolant the shop put it said it was pink. So the part I said I didnít know what it wasnít called is the water pump that had residue on it. If I knew how to attach a picture I would. Maybe Iíll try to swab it. Hoping itís just some kind of left over residue from where they worked on everything. The antifreeze they used was Toyota. Thanks for your help!
