Dezod AEM V2 to AEM Infinity 6 Conversion for IS300 02-05/ Base Cal Included

Dezod AEM V2 to AEM Infinity 6 Conversion IS300 02-05 Auto

*****Warning, is your responsibility to verify your connections, I'm not responsible if your car gets on fire, you loose your job because the car took more time than expected, you have a piston knocking the hood asking letting it go out or a thermonuclear war starts. Verify all before adding power to Infinity, any doubt ask first!!

Using the harness that was build by Dezod, I replaced the 4 connectors with the one for Infinity.

I did first a patch harness to use both EMS in the same car for testing, I don't wanted to stop the car.

Infinity uses an external relay, here how to connect it:

Legend: Pin of relay > Pin Infinity or as described

Pin 85 > C1-47
Pin 86 > +12V from Battery with fuse
Pin 87 > C1-63 and C1-68
Pin 30 > +12V from Battery with fuse

With this and the Base Cal you should start your engine with no problems, go to the wizard select your injectors and your map sensor.

Iím adding some new functions to my car, when completed I will update the thread.

For the VSS Vehicle Speed Sensor you should read here:

https://my.is/forums/f114/vss-dezod-v...e-work-570010/

Any questions I will help the best I can. I'm not a tuner but the Infinity is so powerful that with its integrated live log I tuned my car myself.

Good Luck.

PS: I will look for Pins numbers from OEM ECU and add it so you can build your own harness.

Unfortunately the 6 and 8h (which I am running) can't load the same base files... Still working on my 8h base file.

Weird, because AEM has their base cals for 506 and 508h in the same folder and you can use them in any.

Did you tried connecting the ecu first then go to file, import data and choosing my cal?

You can use my base cal, then change the waste spark to sequential(Wizard>setup wizard>engine> ignition type)... but if you are using GTE with VVT-I you can use my base cal without changing ignition type. VVT-I GTE or GE uses wasted spark and the base cal is configured for wasted spark.

Did you tried connecting the ecu first then go to file, import data and choosing my cal?

Yep I got it uploaded today finally. I had to update the firmware again and it took this time. What are you doing to set up drive by wire. I am looking at the settings and it appears that something is wrong. It is showing maxed out settings on the scale in the wizard. The no throttle and full throttle have no change. I have a loud buzzing from the tb and am starting to think that I my have an issue with the system which is a whole other can of worms.

I cannot figure this out. Previously I had a loaded tune that I basically copied from the included tune. I could get it to fire up and run rough idle but nothing more. Now I have uploaded the base file and I am getting nothing. Just cranking. I have no idea what the issue is. I have adjust my fuel pressure during changing between 35-45 psi with no results. I'm lost.

Sorry my delay, drive by wire, you have it connected to the infinity? This is not the case in my base file, remember is a IS300, drive by wire is controlled by the oem ecu.

Did you used the wizard to change your injectors? Your map sensor? Other sensors? What cams you have? Do you have wideband connected to the infinity?

You never said if you are wasted or sequencial spark

I am running stock cams. I am running sard 800cc so I am running the 750cc in the wizard. I have a wideband but it isn't currently set up to the infinity. I changed my map as well.

I am running wasted spark. I worked in it quite a bit today and got it to eventually run. I let it sit and am having the same problem.

What fuel pressure are you set to?

Ok, if you got it run then you let it sit and did not want to run again maybe is start tables. When it was running, what AFR or lambda you had in idle?

My fuel presure is 45psi at 0 vacuum.

I don't have the wideband hooked up since I got a aem gauge with the Bosch wideband and the boomslang harness came with something else. I am wondering if my coolant sensor is giving an off reading

I suggest installing your gauge.

And actually you have a good point, temp sensor in my base map in configured shared with oem ecu, if you are using a separate sensor it will be offset.

Hey, did you used the same pins as my setup??, no coolant sensor or iat sensor means error or failsafe to the infinity.

Did you check if you have spark? How are your plugs? Rich or lean? What is your ambient temp?

What harness are you using?

I am using the is300 harness. I did not use the wiring that you used. I ordered a boomslang harness. The reason I am commenting in this is because the infinity system on this platform seems to be very minimally documented. I have spark since I am getting it to fire. I have tested for spark and am getting it as well. The plugs are coming out smelling like gas.

I can't seem to understand this.
