not to bash here, but when adding mods to a car, you need to realize that you WONT get your money out of it. I dumped 20k or so into an old accord i had, and you know what i sold it for..... 9k. Its the price you pay to mod. I have at least 15k invested into my stereo, but when i sell it, i will probably only tack on 3k to the kbb price. It sucks big time, but thats just how it goes.....

I think you guys are missing the point here...he's merely trying to test the waters. Just trying to find a fish here in Phoenix that's willing to pay up...no harm in trying. I'm sure Justin is well aware of the depreciation in mods. Hell, I'm not even gonna try to add up how much engine/tranny work is done to that beast. I'm thinking upwards of $35k-40k in engine/tranny mods, so even with depreciation the car isn't a bad deal at $40k.

What about Vivid Racing in Chandler? They are good but everything from install to parts is overpriced. I actually thought Intense was pretty cheap compared to other shops. I've always gotten good deals when I bought from there.

TRUST US...there are none. Intense actually has a pretty good tuner if you're going the AEM route. Problem is, their scheduling will absolutely destroy you. If you like waiting 6+ months to do stuff go ahead and use them as your tuner.

Yeah, I was the guy at the meet. It was awesome to see all the supercharged cars. I wish I had brought my turbo up there since I didn't seem to see any turbo'd IS's. There were some awesome cars and it really brought back my desire to keep the car. I wouldn't decline a good offer at this point but for now I'll put a little money into it and start hitting up the car shows. Cali guys are real cool and everybody seemed to have alot of pride in their cars.
