WA / NW Tuner shop Resources

Here are some local(seattle) shops that I've had good experinces with. Feel free to add more and I'll try to edit this as they come in.

I'd also like to talk to some shop owners to see if we can give them enough buisness to get my.is and CL members discounts. If you know shop owners please make friends, show them we're good people and see what kind of hook up we can get. Thanks, Eric

Enjoy...

I've heard alot about RRev Motorsports in Portland. Well known on and highly respected on Supraforums. No experience on specifically IS300's but plenty of experience on Supra 2JZ-GTE's and several Supra and SC300 2JZ-GE turbo builds (might as well have been an IS300). Tim Robards seems to be the most experienced 2JZ tuner in the northwest. I am going to them for my turbo tune after the install.

Carburetor and Fuel Injection Connection Inc (CarbConn) update.

I was at the shop today and they are tuning a silver '03 5-speed with a SRT turbo kit. The car is owned by a guy from spokane, Raymond(?) might be the owners name.

I talk with Alex, one of the head techs and maybe an owner. Great guys, they seem to really know there stuff too.

AA++ for the shop......

Heres the shop that I had my fenders rolled at. Its owned by member C17flyer.

20-20 Customs

There website kinda lacks info. It only mentions cosmetic work under their services but I know that they also do engine and suspension installs.

Garage Autohero

Location: Woodinville

Specialty: Nissan/Datsun

Website: Myspace (search there name, I'll link it later)

Comments: Owner is a really cool guy, I've spoken to him and he is down for anything, but his passion is Datsun/Nissan. I asked him about doing a r154 swap for me (just this week in fact) and he said "I've never done it, but send over some info and I'll check it out". Sooo yeah, basically he's good people and the Nissan people will vouch for him big time.

Save money and do it yourself. Its fairly easy. Do some searches. Its probably been written up atleast once, probably several times.

I was at Kito yesterday and he was tuning a '94 supra single turbo. Meet the car's owner too, very happy with kito's work so far. Made 20 extra hp by re-maping ECU.

chsamia- I did my suspension work, it's not hard. If you've got the space, food and beer, I'd be happy to help. I'm sure you could get a couple others to help out as well.
