then again, "IF" some loses to JDMaltz in the pope-golf, then it would be an example against the fact that god is infallible, meaning the end of the world...

Media sensationalism to sell an ordinary car. "Look, you too can buy the car previously driven by teh Pontiff, with a still-functioning holy water dispenser and looookkeeeee, a couple cases of off-year 97th growth Bordeaux that's better suited for vinegar than drinking."

I bet it sells for a million bucks. Friggin Papal leghumpers.

If you see this, I have just posted. It may be a while before you see this again.

England's Financial Mirror website reports that Pope Benedict XVI's Volkswagen Golf sold for 188,938 Euros ($242,276). The buyer was the Golden Palace online Casino, most notorious for having paid $28,000 for a grilled cheese sandwich bearing what some say is an image of the Virgin Mary:

The "Papal" VW Golf was last owned by Benjamin Halbe of the eastern German town of Olpe, who had bought it in January for 9,500 euros ($12,180). A profit of over $230,000 is nothing to sneeze at, not to mention impossible to achieve with just about any used car resale, let alone an ordinary VW Golf like this one.

Halbe, who was hospitalized with an illness during the auction, also received more than 2,500 e-mails from people inquiring about the car, including some humourous questions. One person wondered whether the car's windshield cleaner container was filled with holy water and whether the car's exhaust was a puff of white or black smoke.
