whats the process of bringing a LHD car over from canada
im shopping for a late 90s, early 2000s car. I been lurking on craigslist/seattle and accidently clicked Vancouver, BC, instead of Vancouver, WA. I noticed cars are selling for a few thousand $$$$$ less than what us americans would sell them for. Yup, the car is identical to US version, except for the speedometer, crashbar and maybe a few misc things. To get the cluster and a few things switched out is still thousands less than buying a US spec car.
Now, my question is, since its not RHD, not US spec'd. How easy/hard would it be to bring it to the US? Would I need to hire an RI, or can I drive over the border and go to the nearest DMV, slap them cash and they slap me with a title that is street legal.
