Company Name

Nmr - Old Norse word meaning "one who is very composed and confident"

Models

Odin - Supercar
Magni - Work truck
Tyr - Sports coupe
Freya - Family sedan

Reasons for those names and why for those makes

Odin - Supercar

ODIN: The Norse Biggy. ODIN is Father of the Gods, King of ASGARD, Ruler of the AESIR and the Lord of War, Death and Knowledge.

Basically baddest of the badass

Magni - Work truck

MAGNI: God of Strength. He's the son of THOR and JARNSAXA, which easily explains that one. In fact he's even stronger than THOR himself...

Pefect name for a work trunk with lots or torque

Tyr - Sports coupe

TYR: Started off as a fearless Germanic God of War, and became ODIN's left hand man when the Vikings came along.

Not as badass as Odin, but still can take care of himself

Freya - Family sedan and a tuned sedan
Valkyrie - Performance version of Freya

FREYA: Goddess of Love, Fertility and Sexual Desire. She's also a feisty warrior and Queen of the VALKYRIES.

Freya cause you want something in the lineup for the family and for ones who want something that can be fun to have and yet calm at the same time the Valkyrie is there.

For some reason, after watching a bunch of Top Gear... and listening to Clarkson say various car manufacturers in his incredibly exaggerated British accent... I came up with the manufactuer name, "Darren".

Imagine Clarkson saying... "and at the top of our power lap board.... the DARREN"...

I'd start it out as a semi-entry level supercar company. First car would be the Darren SC1.

Not too original. But it gets to the point. Car would be a two seater V8 powered (possibly supercharged V8) Corvette fighter. I'd like to offer near ZR1 levels of power for about $85,000.

Maybe a performance sedan would follow... The Darren PS1 (performance sedan one).

I like simple, alphanumeric names. They're universal.

And I think there are just endless possibilities for cool insignias for a company called "Darren". I'd also consider dropping an "r"... "Daren". That might be cooler.

Well, obviously you're not a golfer.

brand name- Stille (pronounced "still")

The "Rosetta" the universal family oriented entry level luxury sedan. $40,000 plus options.

The "Ting" A spunky/sporty 3 door hatch with lots of modding potential both to personalize and to go fast. could possibly come equipped with a turbo diesel for performance and fuel economy. $22,000 plus options.

The "Peak" A direct replacement for the S2000 except a hard top. turbo inline four is standard with a great power to weight ratio and atleast 240hp stock. Starting at $35,000 Plus options such as sport tuned suspension.

also my company would offer a generous aftermarket arrangement. much like scion, except i would offer things people actually cared about, including limited run accessories for rarity. performance would be key in my cars...and the aftermarket would support that. coilovers, several wheel options, and functional aero would be available, as well as warranty covered engine upgrades like cams, turbo upgrades, intercoolers, and exhaust. it would definately be an enthusiasts line... a line for people like me.
