That was an awesome race ..... It was like tryin to swipe something on eBay in the last few seconds

Where was Toyota? to my knowledge it was Renault(alonso), Ferrari (Schum), and the UK Driver.

Ironically.... during the race it was noted that Honda builds the most powerful F1 motor to date. Thought that was interesting for all you VTec haters.

Yes the 3rd-place UK Driver is Jenson Button driving a BAR Honda. He and his team are facing disqualification because the car was underweight and there are implications of deliberate cheating.

Edit: Here is a link to a short article: BAR face exclusion from the F1 championship.

Update...

It turns out that Jenson Button's BAR-Honda 007 had a little secret fuel tank concealed within the main fuel tank to hold fuel when the car is being weighed post-race. This was designed to ensure that the car would weigh at least 600kg after all the fuel is seemingly drained from the main tank.

But during a race, the fuel inside the secret fuel tank can theoretically be used once the main tank has been emptied, thereby making the car sub-600kg for the purpose of doing a few flying laps before pitting / refuelling.

Looks like BAR-Honda have been cheating and a tip-off was made by 2 former employees!

Everyone always tries to get the edge, even thou it might not be a right thing to do. I remember reading some article about history of Nascar and their tricks that they used to try to get the advantage.

BAR Honda, found guilty of cheating, has been retrospectively disqualified from San Marino and also banned from taking part in the next 2 races in Spain and Monaco.
