I will be in Dallas. Would have liked to go to the F1 races but didn't work out. My wife has a friend that is going, kind of hope she wonders into an area she shouldn't and gets kicked out but that is another story.....

Cassiesman (Rob) will be there. Not sure exactly where he's at though. He'll be posting updates to Cars and Cranks | A blog where two cranky gear heads talk about cars. on our website and also to the Cars and Cranks Facebook page! :D

What a debut race. I honestly think this track has the potential to become one of the greats. It has everything you can ask for in a track and has plenty of places to overtake as well. Well done Texas well done.

I only had my iPhone and I maxed it out on vids and pictures. Spent most of Friday at the turn 7/8 complex, and all of Saturday at turn 11. Sunday we got there early enough to snag a spot on turn 19. After work today I'll be finishing up the Cars And Cranks F1 Survival Guide.

The race was great, even if I'm not 100% happy with the outcome. Still, I'll take the lock on the constructors for RBR, if not Vettel securing the championship. I feel bad for Massa though. I want to know what he did in a past life.

Oh, and I've decided I want a Ferrari Challenge car for Christmas.

Did you take the shuttle! Or hike up the turn 1/2 hill? lol both were pretty brutal.

Beast mode was activated, hiked in and out to all spots from lot F. So not the worst. On Saturday the wife and I did a full walk around lap around the track during the Historic GP race. Standing on the bridges when they came around was awesome.

Ahh, you were part of the asshole mob that caused the bridge congestion! lol

What'd you think of the turn 1 hill hike? Was pretty brutal for my out shape legs.

Honestly thought, standing on the bridges was amazing. We only made it abuot halfway up the down hill side of turn 1 to get a good veiw of 2. What we did wasn't horrible, but I'm pretty good with leg strength. Its the upper body mass I need to ditch, lol.
