Yeah I saw that. But yet to see it's successor (i.e. CLK-DTM) in the flesh. It's quicker and cheaper than the SLR too, but it's sold out.

the clk-gtr WAS rated as the most expensive car ever...but i forgot how much it was and i think only like 1/2 dozen where ever made. the rich sultan dude has one and many other rare exotics.

If I had any love for MB, I would be after the CLK DTM instead of the GTR. Nonetheless, a pretty good supercar considering five were made.

functional aerodynamics at over 200mph doesn't always look 'good' to a lot of people, but i personally think it looks damn good ...

isn't this the road version of the le mans race car, they made just enough road cars just to be eligible for the race ....

ithe shape is meant more to be functional than anything else .... look at the shape of the le man cars (group C cars, LMP, etc) ... they have all that 'general shape' ...

it's a true exotic ..

edit - sorry, i made a mistake ... this is the road version of the 1998 CLK GTR GT1 race car .. not the same one as the 1999 CLR (these were the ones that were taking off the track like planes at Circuit la Sarthe)
