Plantation, FL. - I just bought a 2002 - Charcoal Grey. I have seen a few rolling around down here, but not many. It is all stock, and most likely will keep it that way, but:

1) Where is the best place for aftermarket parts?

2) Besides measuring are there any outward markings to differentiate the 17 X 7 vs 17 X 7.5 rims? I want to make sure the PO didn't mix them up thinking they were the same size.

3) If I were ever to need a replacement graphite rim, where should I look, one is banged up a little. My wife can't tell, but you know how it is when your not quite happy with it, and you have to do something about it.

4) Besides reading the manual, what exactly does the "Power" Button do? Just extend the RPMs before the transmission shifts?

There are many many places to get aftermarket parts for the IS. If you want to save a few bucks check out the Member Sale/Trade forum.

Look on the back of the rim or under the center cap (forget which) and you'll find the measurement stamped in the metal.

I've seen stock wheel for sale here on my.IS and on ebay.

Pretty much just changes the shift points and makes you get worse mpg. I never use mine.

WELCOME to my.IS

How much did you pay for the 02 if you don't mind? I'm looking at a few myself, thanks.

SportCross Owners' Roll Call

Only SportCross owners please, to keep it clean

This is a bastardization of the stickied poll here in the SportCross Forum, but it is old and I'm looking for current info.

I'm bored, so I collated the stickied poll and found the following info:

- 42 members, who posted on the poll that owned a SportCross at one time, have been on this site within the month. Of which, I know of 2-3 who no longer own their SportCross.

- 15 members, who have posted in the poll, haven't visited this site this month, but in the past month or two.

- 8 members, by my rough count, own a SportCross did not post in the stickied poll.

My mission on this thread is to get reacquainted with our fellow SportCross members and to get some traffic to our Forum, and possible create a buddylist/group.

If you own a SportCross, post here, with a photo of you vehicle, and if you want you can also list your mods, then add your name to the roll call.

Post only if you have a SportCross, to keep it clean

Rep to my fellow SportCrossers who reply!

I coalesce the vapor of human experience into a viable and logical comprehenshion.
