Farewell to my SportX brothers...
Well today was something I had been dreading for a while now, the day when I would have to say good-bye to my Sportcross.
I loved going out and driving it every day, it never left me stranded, and never had a problem taking anything I threw its way (12+ bags of mulch, Christmas tree, various plants, assorted lengths of building supplies...)
I never tired of the looks I got, the various people exclaiming "I never knew they made a wagon", "What kind of car is that?", "Where did you find one?".
But, to make room for the new wagon (because what else can a SportX owner go to?) it had to go. On the plus side, its going to a co-worker who also has a V (6spd manual sedan) so I will get to see it from time to time, who knows, he may even let me drive it again!
Specs on the new wagon - 1 of 447, 2011 CTS-V, 351 miles (no, I'm not missing any digits), 556hp from a supercharged V8, Recaro seats.
Good luck to all my former sportcross brothers and be proud of what you have!
