i acquired my 01' black onyx clean title (driven by a mid-thirties asian lady) w/ 34K miles on it for $14,000...and she had the car completely detailed before she gave it to me (interior, exterior, and engine) no dings or scratches

I bought an 01 is300 solar yellow e-shift from ebay for $6,600 last year. It had 70k mileage on it & was salvaged out through the insurance company because it had very minor bumper & hood damage. I dropped about $800 into paint work & about $1,500 for new hood, bumper, fender & 1 headlight. I ended up selling it for $11k a few months later & made about $2k in profit. I ended up finding another IS300 for a great deal as well. Just waiting & being patient is the name of the game.

wow, how did you sell a salvaged 2001 is300 for $11k? It is hard to sell them for even $8k...

It is hard to sell a non-salvaged 2001 is300 for $11k lol

2003 GGP 56k miles for 14.500. Previous owner also had 5yr/100k bumper-bumper warranty on it too + sub and amp. Only complaint was typical wear and tear ie dings on the door and a crack on the windshield that was sealed. She kept the car very nice.

02' AR IS 47K miles, auto. Got the extended warranty 3yr/36K, GAP, $14,500 OTD in Atlanta. Just got the windows tinted. 20% around and 50% whole front. Looks sick.

2003 GGP 5MT non-lsd, no sun roof, cloth interior/manual seats, $21,500 with 40K on the odometer... I got hosed, tires needed to be replaced less than 3 weeks after I bought it. Aside from tires though, the car was PERFECT, not a single scratch scuff or mark inside or out.

GGP 03 5MT LSD & TRD TF2's w/Yokohama Parada Spec 2's.

Funny thing is I had it listed for $12,000 obo & the couple bought it for$11,000 cash so I couldn't turn it down. I just had a brand new Solar Yellow paint job done so the car looked dam good & drove 100%. I actually would of kept it but, really wanted the 5spd instead of the e-shift. I love my 02 5spd IS300 now & don't think I'd ever go back to the e-shift IS300's unless I got one for a steal of a price again. I know a couple of fellas who have got good deals on cars @ craigslist.org. Check your local cities for deals near you.

Vehicle Title: Salvage

This is a fast and swift little car, perfect for city traffic as well as some fun, when conditions allow. Very tide drive and fast acceleration, yet luxury amendments such as partial high grade perforated suede and leather upholstery, chrome shifter & more. This car, over all, has a very bold, “in your face” design. One of the best performance cars in its class, at the same time very affordable. The fact that this is a salvage title vehicle adds to its affordability and in no way diminishes its qualities. This car has suffered minor damage at the passenger side with front and rear doors involvement. It has been repaired and it's like new, all the proper post-collision adjustments and tuning were performed. Vehicle has never been smoked in. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission. This vehicle has every option in it working properly. The exterior shines like it just came off the showroom floor. The interior is in mint condition.

2001 Black IS300 w/ 73K. Clean title and 5% tint all around (yikes) I look like a drug dealer. A few minor blemishes but in overall good condition. Got it January 2008 for $10,200 out the door from a used car stealership. Its been running great so far.

However, I almost beat the shit out of the manager at the dealership during the sale. I drove 300 miles to pick it up, when I got there I expected a mint condition car per the mgr's description...mint condition my ass! But it was still in pretty good condition and had a clean title. I wouldn't enter it into any shows though Found it on Cars.com but would not recommend the dealership. I actually left them a complaint at the BBB.

Too good to be true IMHO, but its worth taking a look at and then driving it to you nearest local Lexus dealership for a full inspection before putting a deposit down. If you are looking for a nice daily driver, you can't beat that price. In the end though, its still a salvage vehicle when you resell it. And sometimes registering a salvage vehicle can be quite a pain.

The car has suffered a minor damage at the passenger side with front and rear doors involvement. It has been professionally repaired and all the proper post-collision adjustments and tuning were performed.
