Anyway, if I were you, I would pay the money and have them do the service.

I'm sure becuase of the price difference between the Lexus and BMW models...it appears to be free but the nice 4 year complementary service is in the price of the car...I guarantee it...besides...what all is it that the dealer does...change fluids...wow...doesn't take ASE certified to do that...
I'm sure Lexus will soon jump on that band wagon, but I will bet the the price of all Lexus models offering that service will go up to cover the service over the 4 year period....
As the old saying goes...nothing is free in this world...
You are right buddy. :D
The 4-year maintenance costs is already included in the 330XI and they wanted an-out-the-door price of $44,000. A middle finger all the Bimmer dealers.

Also, I was even more stupid because I was comparing Lexus with BMW.
My BMW dealer was right--"Comparing Lexus and BMW is like comparing Apples and Oranges." In my words, "Lexus is the fresh Florida orange." "And BMW is the rotten apple."

Take care.

Your Friend,

Donald
I've actually heard the opposite...that BMW would be dropping free service, partially due to the fact that their reliability is way down, and frankly, it's costing them too much money.

No Toyota does not have the same parts, matter of fact the Toyota dealership will have to get the parts from Lexus dealership so they are getting marked up twice vs just going to the Lexus dealership. Im sure you will like the free loaner at Toyota. wait they don't have that! What Im saying is that Lexus is the Cheapest maintenance of ANY Luxury brand and their service and attention to detail is worth it. If you want to pay for a Kia buy a Kia if you want to pay for a BMW or MB then bring your financials, Or by a Lexus and enjoy.

Incredible bump! here Toyota Dealers won't touch a Lexus, they won't even sell Lexus specific parts even if they are Toyota parts. I think it's like a global directive in Canada but maybe it's local to Montreal.

I Fail at keeping my car clean

Oh jeez, I just paid $355 with taxes at the Lexus of Madison and they did all the service needed except for the Tire rotation as they said my tires were new at the front and did not need a replacement, even if it was required it would have cost me a total of $378.
I guess you guys have been ripped off by other dealership.

I learned the hard way that by taking my Lexus to Toyota, Lexus would not appraise my trade-in as excellent because my servicing was not in the Lexus computers. Rip-off. I changed dealers, but will not take the chance on having it serviced at a non-Lexus dealer anymore. BTW, I was 120 miles from a Lexus dealer when the mileage came up to have it serviced. Made no difference.
